Salarix (“the app”, “we”) is a personal salary-tracking app for iPhone, operated by Erez Cohen / Erezults. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party advertising trackers.
Information we collect
- Account. When you sign up with email or Sign in with Apple, we store your email address and display name to create and secure your account.
- Salary data you enter. Payslip details you add — gross/net pay, bonuses, overtime, manager, month, notes — and the files you group them into.
- Payslip media you import. If you import a payslip image or PDF, the file is stored privately and linked to that record so you can view it later.
- Purchases. If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We never see your card details — only your subscription tier and Apple’s transaction identifier.
AI payslip parsing
When you choose to import a payslip, the image or PDF is sent over an encrypted connection to Google’s Gemini API solely to extract the text fields that pre-fill the form. The file is processed transiently and is not used to train AI models. You always review and can edit the values before saving — or enter everything manually and never use AI.
How your data is stored & protected
- Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
- Row-Level Security ensures each record is accessible only to the account that owns it. Payslip files live in a private bucket restricted to the owner.
- The app is offline-first: your data is cached on your device and syncs securely when you reconnect.
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication, database and file storage.
- Google Gemini — on-demand text extraction from payslips you import.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchases.
Your rights & choices
- Export. Export all your data anytime from Settings → Data (JSON, PDF, or a password-encrypted file).
- Deletion. Delete your account and all data from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This is permanent. You may also request deletion by email.
- Access & correction. All your data is visible and editable inside the app.
Retention & children
We keep your data while your account is active; deleting your account removes your records and payslip files. Salarix is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
